Man, we done it folks, we finally made it to the end. It's been what, almost 5 years now? And to think this project started over a drunken skype call, heh. I remember back then all I had was the french edition of volume 36 and photoshop cs2, this baby came quite a long way since then!
We'd like to extend our thanks to all of you who came and went as the project progressed. Your help was a real blessing for a small team like us. But most of all, Orthio and Boco, you two deserve all the honors for sticking with me pretty much all the way. I can't possibly put into words how much this project owes to you guy's hard work.
Boco, your translations were always top-notch and a joy to read through, and Orthio, you're one of the hardest working guys I've ever had the pleasure to have on my team. I may have been the foundation of this project, but you two were definitely the glue keeping it together. The invincible trio kind of started as just a name, but after you came along, there couldn't have been a more fitting name for us. Hurrah!
It was one hell of a ride, and I'm glad I got to see it to the end.
And of course, you fans also deserve a clap, you lot are a patient bunch(well, most of you are)!
Okay enough yapping, here's what you came here for:
Volume 46

great now work on the colored volumes
ReplyDelete--joe
It's not them who are doing the Colored Volumes, It's the guys from JoJo's Colored Adventure.
DeleteColor is the inferior version, but if you want to mysteriously donate $1 per page to decobocotranslation at google's mail service via Paypal I'll typeset it for you.
DeleteCongrats guys ! Thanks for this, you're awesome !
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Now what's the best version of Part 5? Is it still duwang tier?
ReplyDeleteIt depends what you're after really but shizuka's finished some actual hq black and white scans over here:
Deletehttp://shizukajoestar.tumblr.com/
http://www.mediafire.com/jojoproject
And the jojo's colored adventure group are making great pace with the colour releases over here:
http://jojocoloredadventure.blogspot.co.uk/
(Their stone ocean scans are particularly gorgeous)
It sounds like the whole of part 5 could really do with a new translation though so if anyone's interested, get in touch with the boys above. It's definitely not duwang levels but the detail just isn't there.
Thanks guys its been one great and memorable trip. :)
ReplyDeleteHey, I just found out about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure last month and have just now finished downloading all of your guys' hard work. Thank you so much for letting people enjoy the greatness that is JoJo!
ReplyDeleteLegendary!
ReplyDeleteI think i was around here since the beginning!
Congrats and tons of thanks!
You've left your mark in the manga community ;)
Awesome! Thank you so much for your hard work, Invincible Trio!
ReplyDeleteYou guys have worked really hard on this for a really long time, and I greatly appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for working on this project. Superlative work!
ReplyDeleteWelp, time to get myself to a location with better wifi and marathon-download all this Part 4.
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch for all the work, guys! Duwang no more, forever!
Hey guys, could you tell me what font you used for dialogue in latest volumes?
ReplyDeleteMain dialogue is Laffayette Comic Pro, phone dialogue is Manga Temple Italic. Certain emphasized bubbles in this release were Komika Axis, but most of our emphasis in this & previous volumes is a custom version of Laffayette with thicker lineweight.
DeleteGuys, you are the best, thanks for the hard work, you are my heroes!! xD
ReplyDeleteA big huge from Spain
Thanks you very much for all the work u've done :)
DeleteAnother spanish fan here ;)
Thanks so much for your work. But, I think lack the pag.45 of volume 46. Could you check it?. Again, thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteAh thanks for that, there had to be something wrong. I'll give it a good check-through when I get back and then get it all uploaded everywhere.
DeleteOk. Thanks.
DeletePlease upload to Mega too. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteMega's been broken unfortunately mate.

Finally!!! Thank you very very much for your great effort.
ReplyDeleteGreat news!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much guys!
Btw, is this end for you or do you have a new project in mind/planned?
There are a few things I'd like to do but don't want to do without support. Angel Lip would be great, that's a low-key modern update of traditional magical girl genre. I had someone request I do Area 88 but that's way too long for me to do for free without someone else typesetting it for me. I've already ordered a copy of the short story collection Hana Monogatari so I'll probably just concentrate on that next. Oh and a lot of the stuff I've been working on professionally has been published online these days.
DeleteTenchi wo Kurau would also be really interesting I think! that was my original plan after finishing part 4.
Deletewow i didnt know there was a Tenchi wo Kurau manga. i used to play the arcade tho :D
DeleteThere is! It's by Motomiya Hiroshi, character designer of Strider and author of "Salaryman Kintaro" and the award-winning "My Country is Burning" among others. I love his character designs and I like Rot3K so I thought I might do it if I had time.
Deleteawesome (y)
Deletei was reading the Strider manga awhile ago. I kinda like the art, too!
DeleteThanks guys, this was really awesome and made part 4 my favorite part.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much - probably the best translation out there. If only people would do the same for Part V so that it can get some of the love that it deserves. Good job!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for all your efforts!
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome. This really made me rethink Part 4, and it's gone from being my least enjoyed JoJo arc to one of my top favorites. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteFiles from links are deleted?
ReplyDeleteIs it working yet?
DeleteThe link for volume 46 seems to be broken. Could you guys fix it?
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mediafire.com/JoJoPartIV You can still grab them direct through their mediafire.
ReplyDeleteAmazing work! THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteSo when did Boco start translating for this project?
ReplyDeleteI did volumes 34 and 35, then 37 through the end.
DeleteThanks for everything guys. You were great! Probably the best team on JoJo. It'd be great if you guys tackled the bad scans for part 3 or 5 next, or JJL. I bet you want to relax now that you're done though
ReplyDeleteBuy the official part 3 from Viz.
DeleteI'm in touch with Shizuka on part 5 & have already offered to help so if they need my scripts they're welcome to ask.
I'm pretty sure Orthio already contributes to Jojolion.
As i said before - i was around when you started this project so thanks a lot!
DeleteI finished Part IV yesterday, awesome stuff!
Thanks for all the great memories!
Thank you for all your hard work!
ReplyDeletePeace!!

ReplyDeletewhat about the rest of volume 47?
ReplyDeleteFabulous work gentlemen. I wish you could continue, but you've already done more than anyone could really hope for. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteTheres a mistake on one of your final pages of jojo part 4, apparently according to the italian translation suzi Q did get made from the adopted baby, but that is only what i have heard according to the wiki. so can you fix that?
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading Part IV and wanted to thank you for delivering us such high quality scans. You are great!
ReplyDeleteamazing i really like how you translate your work it inspire me to read manga and looking forward for your work keep it up and thank you
